"Casting Burdens"

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. — Psalm 55:22

Facing a "scary appointment" or a mountain of "what-ifs"? That overwhelming anxiety is your signal to stop carrying it alone.

God doesn't just want to lighten your load; He wants to bear it for you. This is the promise of divine empowerment—that unexpected surge of strength when you should be falling apart, a "steady drip of adrenaline" that is actually God's grace holding you up.

Being "lighter" doesn’t mean your problems vanish, but that God’s strength relieves you from carrying them. It is an invitation from desperation to trust. Release the stress, fear, and anxieties in prayer right now. Trust your heart to Him, trust His strength, and embrace His peace. He’ll sustain you through this.

Lord, I confess I am carrying too much. I release this anxiety, my fears and anxieties, to You. I cannot carry them, but You I know can. Sustain me with Your strength, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
