Feminist Friday

She did not just level up. She let go of every version of herself that settled for less, stayed silent to keep the peace, or forgot her worth. She rebuilt her life with stronger boundaries, deeper truth, unwavering courage, and self respect.

London Now she is no longer waiting to become who she was meant to be. She knows who she is, and there is nothing more powerful than a woman who finally remembers her own value.

... Read moreIn my own experience, the process of letting go of old versions of ourselves is both challenging and immensely freeing. Much like the woman described here, I found that the key to true self-empowerment lies in setting strong boundaries and embracing vulnerability through honesty with oneself. It’s not just about leveling up externally, but about burning down the internal narratives that we've accepted which keep us silenced or settling for less. Living in a vibrant city like London, surrounded by diverse stories of growth and resilience, I’ve seen firsthand how a growth mindset can transform personal healing journeys. It’s about recognizing your intrinsic value without waiting for validation or permission. The courage to rebuild and honor your truth becomes a daily practice rather than a one-time act. I recommend starting with small acts of self-respect — saying no when something doesn’t feel right, speaking your truth even when it’s uncomfortable, and spending time reflecting on what boundaries you need to protect your wellbeing. Over time, these actions foster a powerful shift where you stop waiting to become someone else and simply embrace who you are. This transformation is deeply tied to healing, self-worth, and women’s empowerment, and it’s a process that requires patience and compassion. Real change often demands burning down old beliefs and toxic coping mechanisms, but the fire that remains after is stronger, purer, and ignites real courage. Nothing truly stops a woman who knows her value and owns her identity — she becomes unstoppable in her journey of becoming.

Every girl needs to read this book
Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Pérez This is a nonfiction book that gives an in-depth view on sexism, how it’s perpetuated, and where it continues to exist in our society today. I recommend this novel for any girl that feels like they just can’t catch up to their male counterpart and can’

Attributes that the feminist movement lacks;
The feminist movement teaches women that’s it’s okay to be dominant, not needing anyone for help, to be prideful, boastful and to be controlling. Often times these types of behaviors are learned from within the home from “childhood upbringing” that later turns into “childhood trauma”, in our adult
