Period Kit Essentials

01. Mix of Pads, Tampons, and Cup

When I travel or know I am going to be away from my home for a while, I make sure to bring a mix of pads, tampons, and cup. Personally, I like to keep my options open in any given situation. It's better to be over prepared than underprepared.

02. Period Underwear

When I know I am going to have a heavy flow day, I make sure to add period underwear to my kit in any case an emergency happens. The great thing is that there are now so many brands and options out there to find the comfiest one that suits you best.

03. Something to Ease the Cramps

At the start of my period, I experience terrible cramps. I make sure to keep Midol or Tylenol in my bag to ease the pain from the cramps. These have been a lifesaver when I have been out all day and can't stay in bed.
