Don't feed them until they've moved towards the feeding spot after you've given the cue. At first, they might just come to the edge of the tank. That's a win! Reward them. Step 4: Consistency is Your Best Friend This is where many people give up, but don't! You need to be consistent every single day. Even if your turtle isn't responding perfectly, stick to the routine.
