Last year May would be so proud 🥹… of the discipline, the boundaries set, the therapy, the healing, and the growth 🤍 you did it 💪🏾
Looking back over the past year, I've realized that the journey toward healing and growth often requires more than just time — it demands intentional discipline and clear boundaries. From my experience, setting emotional boundaries has been crucial in protecting my mental health and allowing authentic growth to take root. Therapy played an instrumental role by providing a safe space to unpack past challenges and develop coping strategies tailored to my needs. Embracing this support helped me to fully recognize unhealthy patterns and replace them with healthier habits. The transformation was so profound that if my 'last year May me' could sit down with my current self, they wouldn’t believe the resilience and healing that has occurred. This kind of reflection reminds us all that growth is not linear and often feels like starting from scratch. Yet, every step forward — powered by consistent self-care and a commitment to healing — builds a stronger, wiser version of ourselves. Celebrating these wins, no matter how small, reinforces the progress and fuels motivation for continued personal development.
