Oh my goodness, fellow book lovers, you won't believe the incredible haul of new releases that just dropped from two of my favorite publishers, Bloom Books and Sourcebooks Casablanca! I’m absolutely bursting with excitement over every single one of these, and I just had to share my personal rundown. If you’re anything like me, always on the hunt for your next obsession, then you’re in for a treat. First up, for all you fantasy fanatics, we have House of Dragons by K.A. Linde. If you've been waiting for an epic new *dragon book*, this is it! The OCR mentioned it just came out on October 7th, and seriously, I've heard such buzz. K.A. Linde is known for captivating storytelling, and a world filled with dragons? Sign me up! This sounds like the perfect escape, promising grand adventures and probably some high-stakes romance, which is exactly what I crave in a fantasy read. Next, for those who adore steamy contemporary romance, get ready for The Striker by Ana Huang. You know Ana Huang from her incredibly popular Twisted Love and Kings of Sin series, so you already know the level of heat and drama to expect! This one is a *soccer romance*, set in London, which adds such a fun, international flair. The OCR noted it’s already out, and I also saw a mention of The Defender coming out later this month (October 28th), so it looks like we're getting a whole new series to dive into. If you love a good sports romance with a strong, swoon-worthy lead, this is a definite must-read. Then, for a dose of thrilling suspense balanced with heartfelt romance, we have Secret Haven by Catherine Cowles. The OCR screamed "out TODAY!", so you can literally grab your copy right now! Catherine Cowles is a master of *romantic suspense*, weaving intricate plots with deep emotional connections. Her stories always keep me on the edge of my seat, guessing until the very last page, while still delivering that satisfying HEA. I've heard nothing but good things about her work, and I can't wait to get lost in this one. And speaking of captivating worlds, prepare yourselves for the re-release of The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman. This book, which features a *beautiful, addictive werewolf of love*, is truly a *perfect fancy romance*. The OCR mentioned it's coming out on November 25th (or was re-released by Bloom on that date), and it's definitely one to mark on your calendars. I actually read the indie version and absolutely adored it. This is a story that will sweep you away with its rich world-building and passionate characters. Plus, if you love this world, The Night Prince (book 2) is out February 10, 2026, so there's more to look forward to! Finally, we have Anathema by Keri Lake. The OCR highlighted that it’s a "huge perfect fall read" with "beautiful sprayed edges," which makes it sound absolutely stunning on the shelf! I always appreciate when publishers go the extra mile with the aesthetics. I’ve heard whispers of amazing things about Keri Lake’s writing, and this book in particular seems to be generating a lot of buzz. If you're looking for a substantial, immersive read to curl up with as the weather gets cooler, Anathema might just be your next favorite. These books are more than just new releases; they're potential "bargain" finds in terms of pure reading value, offering hours of entertainment across various genres. Whether you're drawn to dragon battles, soccer fields, hidden dangers, or moonlit forests, Bloom Books and Sourcebooks Casablanca have truly outdone themselves this month. I'm already clearing my schedule to make room for these fantastic stories. Which one are you most excited to pick up first? Let me know in the comments!
