498$ later...
Hi Everyone!
Today I was off in the afternoon because Ayko-Cat needed to see the vet. 498$ later but she will be okay!
Also, where's Ayko in the 3rd picture? 🤣
What's did you do today? Work?
For my look today I used my favorite @unearthlycosmetics palette the Don't be Jelly. This lalette is old news but if you ever wondered the mattes are pressed really hard in the pans which for me is a good thing there's not too much pigment all at once and barely no fallout. The Hydrospace shimmer is one of my favorite in my collection. I'm so close to hitting pan! And I've already hit pan in Luminescence. I love the shimmers too. They are ZERO squishy. I don't remember if I purchased this one from unearthly's website or if it's was from @ifeelbeautifulcanada
3 staples brushes in my routine:
@klaritykosmetics K1248 is my top blending brush. I use it everyday.
@singe_beauty EO1 I use for inner corner highlight (mattes or shimmers) and for shinmer on the lid and the brow bone *
@bellabeautebar from the rose gold 10 PC set I always use this brush for my lower lash line for a smokey effect
The @natashadenona concerler I find it thick in consistency but it blends nice. It does a good job on me but so are doing the majority of concealers on the market (I am not a reference).
I won't lie: I didn't like my lips too much. It looks orange? Why? Because the two products are not orange at all. It was the @meltcosmetics lipliner in Bare and the @bellabeautebar Lip Sparkle Balm in Cosmic Dust. I don't understand I will have to test them again later.
The @wetnwildintl white out is just so good. Pigmented. And doesn't drag at all in my waterline but it's also not a eyeliner it's a eyeshadow marker. I'm not sure if it's eye safe 🤔
* purchased at @ifeelbeautifulcanada
Having taken Ayko-Cat to the vet, I realized how important it is to be prepared for unexpected pet expenses—especially when they come with a hefty $498 bill. It's a relief knowing she's okay now, but it’s a stark reminder to have a pet emergency fund. On the makeup front, experimenting with long-standing favorites like the Unearthly Cosmetics 'Don't Be Jelly' palette reminds me why some products remain staples. The matte shades being pressed hard in the pan are great for controlled application with minimal fallout, which can really make a difference during busy days. I particularly love the Hydrospace shimmer—it adds that perfect pop without feeling too glittery or messy. Brushes are my unsung heroes in creating a smooth and smoky eye effect. The @klaritykosmetics K1248 blending brush is incredible for seamlessly merging colors, and I can attest to using it daily. For highlights in the inner corners and brow bones, the @singe_beauty EO1 brush is reliable and precise. Plus, the @bellabeautebar rose gold brush works wonders for creating a soft lower lashline smudge—perfect for adding definition without harsh lines. When it comes to concealers, the @natashadenona formula is thick but blends well for me. Though its texture might not suit everyone, I find it effective for covering imperfections. It's interesting how different brands cater to various skin needs, and I always feel encouraged to test multiple products before settling on a favorite. Now, about the lips—I've struggled a bit with the unexpected orange tint from mixing the @meltcosmetics Bare lipliner and @bellabeautebar Lip Sparkle Balm in Cosmic Dust. Lip colors can sometimes look different depending on the base or lighting, so I plan to experiment more to get the perfect combination. Lastly, the @wetnwildintl White Out eyeshadow marker surprised me with its pigmentation and smooth application on the waterline. Although it’s technically an eyeshadow marker and not an eyeliner, it glides without dragging. Still, I recommend confirming if it’s eye-safe for those with sensitive eyes. Overall, balancing pet care and personal beauty routines can be challenging but fulfilling. Sharing these insights helps me connect with others facing similar daily adventures.
