If you are visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico, you need to try Izanami. It’s the restaurant located at Ten Thousand Waves Japanese spa. The food is amazing and they have gluten free and vegan options.
It can be a far and steep walk from the lower parking lot to the top where Izanami is located but they have a complimentary van that drives you up there. We tipped our driver also.
The cuisine is true authentic Japanese fusion and the ambiance/atmosphere is amazing. It can be on the pricier side depending what you order but they have lots of options.
The decor is beautiful and they have a beautiful outdoor patio with a beautiful scenery of the mountains.
