Servings:
4 pork chops
Ingredients
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1–1½ inches thick)
2 stalks lemongrass (white tender part only, finely minced)
5 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but good)
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
1 tbsp oil for cooking
Green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds (optional)
Marinade
Mix:
Soy sauce
Honey
Brown sugar
Garlic
Lemongrass
Lime juice
Sesame oil
Seasonings
Pour over pork chops.
Marinate 30 minutes minimum (2–8 hours for deeper flavor).
Cook (Skillet Method)
Heat oil over medium-high heat.
Remove pork chops from marinade (save marinade).
Sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
Pour remaining marinade into skillet.
Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
Spoon sauce over pork chops repeatedly.
Oven Finish (Optional)
Bake at 375°F for 8–10 minutes after searing if chops are thick.
