When I first got her, I was a bit stumped too. But after a lot of experimenting, I've really figured out how to make her 'Flawless Strategy' truly shine, even without crits. First off, let's talk about her unique passive: 'Flawless Strategy.' It gives her a massive 25% Healing Bonus but deducts 100% from her Crit Rate. This means building her for Crit Rate and Crit Damage is basically useless. Instead, we want to focus on stats that boost her healing and damage through other means. For artifacts, my absolute go-to is the Ocean-Hued Clam (OHC) set. This set is a game-changer for Kokomi! Not only does it give her a 15% Healing Bonus (which stacks beautifully with her passive), but the 4-piece set effect creates a bubble that accumulates healing and then bursts to deal physical damage. Since Kokomi heals *a lot*, this bubble can hit surprisingly hard, turning her into a significant off-field damage contributor. Forget about crits; this is where her personal damage comes from! Another viable option, especially if you want her to be a support unit for buffs, is Tenacity of the Millelith (TotM). The 4-piece TotM buffs your team's ATK and Shield Strength when her skill hits an enemy, which her Bake-Kurage (jellyfish) does reliably. When it comes to main stats for her artifacts, here's what I recommend: Sands: HP% (This directly boosts her healing and her skill/burst damage!) Goblet: Hydro DMG Bonus% (Essential for increasing her personal damage output) Circlet: Healing Bonus% (Again, this synergizes with her passive and makes her healing absolutely monstrous, while also boosting OHC damage) For substats, prioritize HP%, Energy Recharge (she needs her burst!), and then a bit of Elemental Mastery if you're running her in Dendro reactions or Vaporize/Electro-Charged teams. Now, for weapons! If you're lucky enough to have her signature weapon, Everlasting Moonglow, it's fantastic for her healing and provides Energy Recharge. But if not, don't fret! Prototype Amber (craftable 4-star) is an amazing F2P option. It gives HP% (perfect!) and helps with team energy regeneration. Another incredible choice, especially in specific team comps, is the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (TTDS). This 3-star catalyst provides a huge HP% boost at R5 and, most importantly, buffs the ATK of your next character by an insane amount when Kokomi swaps out. It makes her an exceptional buffer. My personal experience with this build has been incredible. My Kokomi provides constant, high-level Hydro application, making her invaluable for Freeze, Vaporize, and Electro-Charged teams. She keeps everyone topped up, and with the OHC set, she's constantly popping damage bubbles! It's super satisfying to see those big white numbers pop up next to her healing. So, next time you think about Kokomi and her '-100% Crit Rate,' remember: it's not a weakness, it's just her unique 'Flawless Strategy' that needs a different approach!
