What Surprised You 2025?

I have been trying to raise funds for what will ultimately be a kidney transplant. To be fair, I havent pushed it out there much because I hate asking for help and it's not a small ask. I was feeling down about it last week but I still wanted to post an update. I hadn't had anyone give in a couple months so I was surprised to see that a person who I did not know had donated $30 anonymously. I felt like it was a Christmas miricale. I was incredibly moved. I have received 3 gifts so far and lots of kind words. Most of them from strangers and a couple from scammers but that's another post! What about you? Did people surprise you this year?
