✨BODY RECOMP✨
Body recomposition is a rewarding approach to fitness that focuses on reducing fat while simultaneously building muscle, rather than solely aiming for weight loss. From my personal experience, staying at 56 kgs but changing body composition drastically requires patience and a well-structured plan. One key aspect I found helpful was tracking my macronutrients closely, especially ensuring I consumed enough protein to support muscle growth without overeating calories. Incorporating strength training into my routine at least 3-4 times a week made a considerable difference. Rather than traditional cardio, I prioritized resistance exercises because they help preserve and grow lean muscle which is essential for body recomposition. Consistency with nutrition and workouts is vital. On some days, I focused on a slight caloric deficit to help shed fat, while on others, I went for maintenance calories with a focus on nutrient timing around workouts for muscle repair and growth. Also, monitoring progress via body measurements and mirror checks, more than the scale, gave me better motivation since the weight stayed at 56 kgs but my body shape improved. Don’t neglect recovery. Adequate sleep and rest days prevent burnout and help muscles repair effectively. Also, patience is crucial—body recomposition doesn’t happen overnight but gradual improvements can lead to sustainable results. Remember, at a fixed weight like 56 kgs, small changes in fat and muscle mass can significantly affect how your body looks and feels. Embrace body recomposition as an art that balances your fitness goals.
