The float is 24 feet tall, 18 feet wide 55 feet long and an estimated 76, 748 flowers will be used to build it! Glinda's crown and wand are made of white fine cut everlasting and pink strawflower. Elphaba's hat and cape are made of black seaweed and ground onion seed, and the broom's handle is crafted from coffee grounds, walnut shell coco stix and sisal rope. Phoenix Decorating Company is the builder and according to the Rose Bowl rules Every inch of the float must be covered with natural materials, such as flowers, leaves, seeds, bark, fruits, and vegetables and The materials cannot be dyed. the tulip fields are made from red, hot pink, lavender and orange tulips alongside walnut shell paths.
