1. Chambers

-my review: this was a really great show and I’m really sad they cancelled it. The show really had you sitting at the edge of your seat wondering what the hell was going on. I was gasping in shock at many scenes and just overall intrigued in what was happening. Sad they cancelled it after one season though and left us on a huge cliffhanger 😭

2. Haunted

-my review: this is a lot like A Haunting which has been around since like 2002. I remember watching it when I was younger and always freaking myself out. There is something about stories like the ones in these shows that really get me spooked and I believe it has to do with the fact that these are real people telling their stories. Personally I love reality styled horror, though many people always wonder just how factual they are. I guess it’s up to you to believe in it or not.

3. Japanese Tales of the Macabre

- my review: okay so I have a lot to say about this series and these stories. If you have a weak stomach do not watch. It is the most vile and terrifying series I have ever seen (but in a good way 😂). If you like chilling and all around creepy horror this is the show for you. It takes the mundane and turns it into the creepiest of things. I really have to give it to the author, he is twisted. Do not watch at night or you will have nightmares 😅

4. The Haunting of Hill House

-my review: I love the haunting of hill house because much like Chambers it keeps you at the edge of your sweet. Through the entire series I was just wondering what the hell is happening and it’s not until the end that you begin to realize everything that is going on. I love that the series has some sort of closure, not completely, but at least you understand why things happened the way they did. It’s also really creepy, like the bent neck lady will forever be engraved on my mind 😵‍💫

5. The Haunting of Bly Manor

-my review: this is part of the anthology that followed The Haunting of Hill House and personally it is my favorite. Mostly because the story is just like what the hell and because it leaves you wondering if that what death is actually like, which if it is like this series, terrified for real. I love the relationship between some of the characters and that the bad ones at least get what they deserve. I do wish that the au pair had not had that kind of ending but it makes sense because she was trying to save the children in the end. Overall I really enjoyed this series and when I realized what was actually happening, my jaw dropped so damn far, like almost everyone was literally dead wth 😅
