💭What's on my mind: What if the same eyes that saw betrayal can learn to see differently

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced world, embracing vulnerability is often seen as a sign of weakness. However, it's essential to realize that vulnerability can lead to profound personal growth and healing. Each wound we carry tells a story, a testament to our journey, yet our souls are inherently designed for renewal and rebirth. When we choose vulnerability, we allow ourselves to be truly seen. It’s in these moments – when we share our fears, dreams, and scars – that we have the opportunity to connect with others on a deeper level. Through this connection, we often discover that we are not alone in our struggles; many have walked similar paths. The journey into vulnerability is akin to descending a spiral staircase, where each step invites us to confront our truths. As we descend, we are met by wisdom, an open hand guiding us toward our authentic selves. Trusting again after betrayal requires courage, and it starts with understanding that vulnerability isn't about forgetting the past but embracing it. Additionally, allowing our hearts to beat freely can be seen as a sacred act. It is about finally releasing the breath we've held for so long, letting go of the fears that bind us and stepping into a realm where we can heal. Each time you whisper your secrets to God or express your true emotions, you reclaim what was taken from you – your essence. In conclusion, choosing vulnerability over armor is a courageous act that leads to renewal and profound personal insights. It opens doors to meaningful connections and allows our true selves to flourish amidst the scars and stories we carry. Embrace it; the journey is worth it.

The softest place on earth
Your marriage should be the softest place on earth. Not a battlefield. Not a performance stage. Not a place where you have to armor up. Home should be where a husband can lay down the weight of the world… Where a wife can exhale without being judged… Where vulnerability is safe, affection
