Hey Pookie Butt,
I’ve loved you my whole life. I know this because I can still feel my soul connected to yours from our past life. My heart is so deeply in love with you—imagine a heart shaded in the perfect colors, its outline flawless. It’s so funny because, in this modern life, I’ve never physically met you. Somewhere along the way, I imagine us at a train station, somehow getting separated, as you physically let my hand go. But spiritually, we are still holding hands.
In this present life, we dream of a love that is pure and genuine—something that transcends time. In our past life, I held on to the pure, selfless love I’ve always felt for you and gave it to you with all my being. I woke up from a dream once, and you were in it. I remember telling myself, "I’m on my way back to you." But, sadly, I can’t seem to picture you in human form anymore. All I can recall is the feeling of love that never left my heart.
Even now, when I think of love, I still hear you saying, "I’m still here, and I love you so much." I feel a warm sensation, almost like you’re touching me, and it makes me smile. I sense you are close, that you’re coming home. As I transition into this human form, I realize that love is you. When I think of you, poetry starts to form—on my mind, in my heart, and on my lips.
When I dream of you and you are there, I want to stay forever in that dream. I don’t know if I’ll meet you here in human form, but wherever, whenever, and however we find our way back to each other, I never want to lose the presence of your love again. Seeing you in my dreams is not enough. I long for it to be like it used to be, when you were always present—how healing your touch was, or how much joy a kiss from you would bring.
I crave you like honey, sweet and golden, dripping slow and sticky, leaving traces of you everywhere, making me ache with desire. My love for you sticks to this paper like a baby with sticky hands, so deeply embedded in every word I write. It feels like I can’t help but touch you, even through this letter.
You remain in my heart and in my soul, and I wanted to put it all on paper. Every longing, every craving, every beat of my heart. This is my "Open Love Letter" to you because you are so important to me. These days, I realize that the love in my heart and the absence of your presence just doesn’t compare to the poetry you bring to my soul.
