Matching jagua tattoos + café hopping = perfect date idea 💫

Tried this TikTok-famous jagua tattoo spot and it was such a fun experience. My design was $10 >< a bit pricey for the size, but the artist was very skilful and quick. Tattoo lasts around 3 weeks, which makes it worth it.

📍 335B Smith Street, Outram (near Starbucks)

🕚 Opens at 11am | Went late morning, short queue

Pro tip: wait in an air-conditioned place for an hour after so it sets properly 👀

We grabbed an iced matcha latte nearby — $7, so good, and they accept CDC vouchers!

... Read moreIf you're considering getting a jagua tattoo in Chinatown, here's my personal tip: arrive early to avoid queues and choose a design that fits your style since the price varies with size, usually starting around $10. The best part is the temporary nature, lasting about three weeks, so it's great for experimenting without long-term commitment. After your tattoo, it's crucial to let it set properly by staying in an air-conditioned environment for about an hour. This helps the tattoo last longer and look sharper. Nearby, you can enjoy some of the best café spots on Smith Street – I loved the iced matcha latte, which not only tastes amazing but also accepts CDC vouchers, making it affordable. Exploring Chinatown for a jagua tattoo is more than just the ink – it's about the whole experience. From vibrant streets to delicious cafe hopping, I found it a memorable and unique date or solo adventure idea. Don't miss checking out other local spots like Sinnkawa or nearby Korean restaurants within 10 to 20 meters of the tattoo shop for a full day out! Pro tip: Bring a friend along, so you can capture fun moments of the tattoo process and enjoy exploring Chinatown’s lively vibe together.

Chinatown’s newest cafe is a vibe…almost. ✨
Walked into @fernweh.sg and loved it. That MASSIVE circular counter is a centrepiece dream. The light, the tiles, the plants… every corner is 📸. I tried their cafe food, love it with that Asian twist. The one thing I was most excited for… was the biggest letdown. The Matcha Latte was weak. 💔
