Pachys think they something lately 🤌
Got checked real quick lol 😂
Okay, so you saw my last post about getting 'checked' by a Pachy, right? Well, that was quite the humbling experience! 😂 But honestly, while I was recovering (and respawning!), I started thinking about all the things that make Path of Titans so challenging and fun. Two big things that always come up in my chats with friends are finding resources like Lakeweed and getting a good questing group together. So, I figured I’d share some personal tips from my own dino adventures! My Quest for Lakeweed: Where to Find That Elusive Underwater Snack! After getting stomped, I often find myself needing to replenish my hunger and grow, and Lakeweed is a fantastic, readily available resource, especially for aquatic or semi-aquatic dinos, but even land dwellers can benefit if they're near water. I remember one time, I was playing my Sarcosuchus, and I desperately needed to 'Collect' some Lakeweed for a growth quest. The OCR mentioned 'Impact Crater,' and honestly, that's one of my go-to spots! There are usually plenty of water sources there. I’ve found that almost any significant body of water, especially lakes and deeper rivers, will have patches of Lakeweed. You just have to swim down a bit and look for the green, leafy clusters. Don’t forget to use your 'Pickup' keybind once you're close enough! It’s not always obvious, as sometimes it blends with the environment, but once you know what to look for, you'll be swimming in it. It’s super important for those early growth stages and for completing certain 'Quests' that require you to forage specific items. My best advice? Scout out the edges of large lakes and keep an eye out for other players who might be doing the same – sometimes they lead you right to a good patch! Teaming Up: How My Friends and I Finally Mastered Questing Groups! Another thing that often comes up is how to effectively 'make a questing group.' My earlier Pachy encounter probably would have gone better if I wasn't solo! 😂 Questing solo can be tough, especially when you run into bigger, scarier dinosaurs or just need help completing objectives faster. Forming a group with 'friends' makes a huge difference. Here’s how we usually do it: Inviting Friends: If your friends are online, the easiest way is to open your social menu (usually 'O' key), find their name, and send them a group invite. Using Chat: If you’re looking for random players, try using the global or local chat. A simple "LFG [Looking for Group] for [Quest Type/Location]" can work wonders. Be clear about what you're doing. Communication is Key: Once in a group, we always use voice chat or the group chat function to coordinate. Deciding who's taking point, who's watching flanks, and which 'Quests' to prioritize makes everything smoother. Shared Quests: Remember that many quests are shared, meaning if one person in the group completes an objective, everyone gets credit. This is super efficient for things like 'Collect' X amount of items or explore Y location. Splitting Up (Carefully!): Sometimes, for certain quests, it's more efficient to split momentarily, like having one person collect Lakeweed while another checks out a different part of the map. Just make sure you stay within render distance or have a plan to meet back up! It's all about finding that balance between exploration, survival, and teamwork. Path of Titans is a blast, and I hope these tips help you avoid getting 'checked' as much as I do! Happy dinosaur-ing!
