Immune-Boosting Ginger Turmeric Tea
Ingredients:
• 1 cup hot water
• 1 tea bag (I used oolong)
• 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
• 1 teaspoon fresh turmeric (grated) or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional for sweetness)
• A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
Instructions:
1. Bring water to a boil and pour it into your cup.
2. Add grated ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon.
3. Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir well.
4. Add a pinch of black pepper to aid in turmeric absorption.
5. Let the tea steep for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
6. Stir in honey if desired for sweetness. Enjoy warm!
