Spring in NYC = Sakura Mille-Feuille 🌸✨

Since I couldn’t make it to see the cherry blossoms with my friends, I found them in dessert form instead!! This patisserie has been 🔥 for so long, so we finally came to try their tasting menu—which includes a choice of tea/coffee.

🍓 Course 1: AMUSE-BOUCHE

A light wild berry cream—sweet, not too tart. Super smooth and refreshing!

🌸 Course 2: Main Dessert (we picked these two):

🥐 SAKURA MILLE-FEUILLE

Their take on the classic French mille-feuille! Instead of stacked layers, the crispy pastry is placed into a sakura-flavored cream. Surprisingly lightly salted, not heavy at all! The cherry compote inside adds a refreshing tartness, and the green apple sorbet is so addictive.

Stunning presentation & perfect balance of flavors! Crack it open for a tangy yuzu mousse, paired with sweet matcha ice cream. The contrast is chef’s kiss.

🍪 Course 3: PETIT FOURS

A cute selection of bite-sized sweets, some even had a Chinese dessert vibe!

What I love about this place? Nothing is overly sweet! Every dish balances flavors beautifully, making the whole experience light & satisfying. Also, sitting at the bar lets you watch the pastry chefs in action—so fun!

This time I used store bought dough, it was already cut into squares, I hade to cut them into rectangles. I baked them at 32o f, then I filled between the layers with home made vanilla custard, last I added white frosting and decorated with chocolate on top. It was quite tasty! #likes to bake #
