normal home things 🫶🏼

Next month it’ll be a year we moved into our house and we still don’t have closet doors 🤣 we also painted our counter tops to save some extra money bc we had to put a decent bit of work into our home. They’re chipping pretty bad but it’s okay for now. I needed my full length mirror somewhere and the kitchen was the only place we had a space for it! It looks a little odd but it works! #normalhouse #lemon8challenge #reallifeathome #normalizenormalhomes

... Read moreMoving into a new home can be a rewarding yet challenging experience. Many homeowners face common obstacles such as decor choices and practical arrangements. Painting countertops is a budget-friendly solution that can add a personal touch, yet it requires ongoing maintenance. Living without closet doors can create a unique aesthetic but also poses challenges in organization and space efficiency. To address these issues, consider creative storage solutions, like stylish bins or shelving, to keep your home tidy. Incorporating mirrors into your decor not only enhances natural light but also gives the illusion of a larger space. Embrace these home imperfections as part of your journey, allowing you to personalize your space with what truly reflects your lifestyle. Remember, every home tells a story. By sharing your experiences, you can inspire others to appreciate the beauty of a lived-in home. Engaging with communities focused on home improvement can offer additional insights and support as you continue to make your house a home.

Things I Thought Were Normal ✨
I genuinely thought being “easy to love” meant staying quiet, over explaining, apologizing too much, and never asking for anything from anyone. 😭 Now I’m realizing a lot of those habits were survival habits, not personality traits. 🤍 Healing has been unlearning the version of me that thought
