Blackpink’s Rosè Uses This!
Heck, the name of this product alone was enough to pique my interest. I know it’s often mentioned as one of Blackpink Rosé’s favorites (fun fact: she was my bias the entire time before I lost interest in K-pop around 2018). Trying this product felt like a nostalgic nod to my younger K-pop fan days. So thank you Bloomkare for sending this over in exchange for my honest thoughts on this!
Enough about me—let me tell you what I truly think of Purcell’s 24/7 Colostrum Pore Defence Ampoule Face Mist:
What It Is:
- A facial ampoule with a spray function
- Comes in 55 mL / 1.85 fl. oz.
- Purpose: To lock in glow with or without makeup and minimize pore size
🧬 The packaging is functional, easy to carry around, and store, all while being visually aesthetic. It gives off a luxurious vibe through its simple design, which is my favorite.
🧬 I looked into the ingredients to see what supports the “glow” factor and minimizes pore size. Fortunately, this contains zero concerning ingredients at a surface level. Some of the standout ingredients include:
- Bifida Ferment Lysate (3.6%): A probiotic that protects against UV-induced damage and aids in DNA repair.
- Lactococcus Ferment Lysate: Contributes to better barrier function.
- Xylitol, hyaluronic acid, betaine, panthenol, glycerin, etc.: Provide moisturization and hydration.
🧬 Upon using this, I didn’t detect any scent, making it essentially fragrance-free. The formulation absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling moisturized without any residue. It also makes your skin look semi-dewy, which I love.
🧬 If there’s one con, I’d say it’s the way the mist sprays. While it’s generally fine and even, at times it tends to sputter—spraying too much liquid in concentrated spots. The atomizer could definitely use improvement.
Overall, I’d give this a 4.5/5. It’s something I see myself using, but I just wish the spray mechanism worked more consistently instead of sputtering occasionally.

After using the Purcell 24/7 Colostrum Pore Defence Ampoule Face Mist for a while now, I wanted to share a few more insights that I think really round out the picture for anyone considering this product. While my initial review covered the basics, there's more to unpack, especially regarding its unique ingredients and how to truly get the most out of it. First, let's talk a bit more about the star ingredients: colostrum and those amazing probiotics like Bifida Ferment Lysate and Lactococcus Ferment Lysate. So many K-beauty products are leaning into probiotics these days, and for good reason! They’re incredible for your skin barrier. Think of your skin barrier as your body's first line of defense; when it's strong, your skin is better at fending off environmental aggressors, retaining moisture, and reducing sensitivity. For me, someone with occasional redness, strengthening my barrier is key to achieving that healthy, even glow. This Ampoule Face Mist feels like it's actively working to improve my skin's resilience, which is a huge plus beyond just temporary hydration. Now, on to practical application – how I've found it best to use this Purcell mist. The article already notes it locks in glow with or without makeup, and I totally agree. For a quick morning refresh, after cleansing and toning, I'll give my face a generous spritz before applying serum to help with absorption. Throughout the day, especially if I'm feeling dry or my makeup looks a bit flat, a light mist revitalizes everything. I even tried it after my full makeup routine to set everything, and it leaves a beautiful, natural-looking finish without making me look greasy. The sleek, portable packing screams luxury, making it super easy to carry in my bag for those midday touch-ups. Regarding the one downside I mentioned – that the mist can sputter at times – I've found a couple of tricks that help. Instead of holding it super close to my face, I try to hold it a little further back, about an arm's length away, and spray in a wider, sweeping motion. This seems to improve the dispersion. Also, a firm, quick press on the atomizer rather than a slow, hesitant one tends to give a more even distribution. It's a small adjustment, but it makes a difference in getting that fine, even mist rather than concentrated droplets. Who would I recommend this for? If you’re like me and struggle with enlarged pores or want to maintain a healthy skin barrier, this 24/7 Colostrum Pore Defence mist is a solid contender. It's hydrating enough for drier skin types but light enough for oily or combination skin, especially since it absorbs quickly without residue. For anyone chasing that effortless, dewy K-beauty glow and wanting to proactively minimize pores with beneficial ingredients, giving the Purcell Ampoule Face Mist a try could be a great step. It's more than just a refreshing spray; it feels like a genuine treatment for your skin.
