How I Study for Exams in Nursing School
I have been very lucky with all my exam scores and I think it has everything to do with how I study.
When you take notes on paper and in color it links pathways in your brain that help with memory. If you are struggling with a subject continue to write it in color to help with retention
Study in a low distraction environment. I have to remove myself from the home because I tend to get distracted with things I need to do. I also find that if I go somewhere I get more done

Studying for nursing school exams requires not only dedication but also the right strategies. One effective technique is to take notes using different colors for each topic. This method has been shown to engage different pathways in the brain, making it easier to recall information during tests. Additionally, consider the environment where you study. Some nursing students find that studying in neutral or calming spaces like libraries or parks enhances their focus, compared to studying at home where distractions can abound. Using visual aids can also boost retention. Incorporating diagrams or charts in your notes can help in organizing information in a memorable way. Furthermore, practicing with past exam questions or quizzes can simulate the test environment, preparing you not just academically but mentally, and helping you to manage time effectively during the exam itself. Adjusting your study schedule to shorter, more frequent sessions can also keep you engaged and reduce burnout. Remember, quality of study time often outweighs quantity.

Goodluck on your nursing journey and I hope you succeed in the nursing field ❤️❤️
