Are you breathing in the world's atmosphere or Christ's? 🌍✨
This powerful question will challenge how you're living your faith daily. It's time to check where your heart truly lies. #ChristianEncouragement #Jesus #fyp #foryou #FaithTok
In my own journey of faith, I've often grappled with the tension between living according to worldly pressures and embracing the freedom found in Christ. It’s easy to get caught up in the atmosphere of our secular surroundings—concerned about preserving personal rights, fulfilling responsibilities, and pleasing oneself. However, I’ve learned from teachings like those of Stuart Briscoe that this worldly pull can distract us from living a life truly honoring Jesus. I've found it helpful to pause and ask myself: Am I motivated by a desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ under whose law I operate? Or am I simply going through life doing my own thing, pleasing myself and following my own wishes? Recognizing this has been a crucial step toward deeper faith. Living under Christ's law means experiencing freedom from the old life and embracing a new sense of duty—one not born out of obligation but out of love and gratitude. This shift transforms how I approach daily choices, relationships, and challenges. It’s not always easy, especially when the cultural atmosphere pushes for self-centered living, but grounding myself in scripture and Christian encouragements reminds me of the greater purpose. Ultimately, choosing to 'breathe' Christ’s atmosphere means aligning our hearts with His values and living by faith, not by worldly standards. It’s a continuous process of surrender and growth that brings peace, purpose, and true freedom.
