What do I do?
I’ve got a close friend who’s been bugging me nonstop to go to Europe with her. She says her solo trip there “totally changed his life” and keeps telling me that I get it once I go. The thing is, her plan is so vague. No clue which countries, where we’d stay, or even how long we’d be gone. Europe’s huge, France, Italy, Spain who knows? Not having a solid itinerary stresses me out big time.
The whole trip would cost around $3K, that’s basically several months of my living expenses. Taking time off work isn’t a problem, but thinking about dropping that much, the messy plan, and hauling luggage around already makes me tired.
Like that money could go to way more practical things: a new car, or padding my financial safety net. She’s all go-with-the-flow, while I need plans and control. Should I go on the trip or play it safe with the money?

Save. A true friend would never be harping about you going on a trip she knows you cant afford
