My Daily Struggle
As I sit in my doctor's office waiting for my sonogram I am contemplating.... WHAT THE HECK SHOULD I MAKE FOR DINNER?!?!
I am the primary cook in the house and I love it! (even though my husband cooks way better food than me, but we won't talk about that right now)
I've come to realize my biggest struggle every.... single.... day.... is trying to think of what to make. I wanna know, how do you decide what's for dinner?

Many families face the daily struggle of deciding what to make for dinner. It can be overwhelming with busy schedules and varying preferences. Here are some tips to make meal planning easier: 1. **Create a Weekly Menu**: Planning meals for the week can save time and reduce stress. Choose a theme for each day, like Meatless Monday or Taco Tuesday, to make decisions easier. 2. **Get Input from Family**: Involve your family in the planning process. This not only gives you new ideas but makes everyone feel included in mealtime decisions. 3. **Keep a List of Go-To Recipes**: Maintain a list of your favorite meals that are easy to prepare. This will serve as a quick reference when you're pressed for time. 4. **Batch Cooking and Meal Prep**: Consider preparing ingredients in advance or cooking meals in bulk on weekends. This can make weeknight dinners a breeze! 5. **Explore New Ingredients**: Occasionally, try incorporating new ingredients or cuisines to keep dinners exciting and interesting for everyone. 6. **Healthy Convenience Foods**: Stock up on healthy frozen meals, pre-chopped veggies, and other time-saving ingredients that can help you whip up a meal quickly. Utilizing these strategies can help lessen the anxiety of deciding what's for dinner, allowing you to enjoy cooking and sharing meals with family more!
