Why worry when it’s yours

Imagine setting your mind to do something regardless if it’s day, weeks, or months away. But you get fearful that you couldn’t accomplish it for whatever reason. Now you’re doubting yourself, the dreams are telling you it won’t happen so you become still. Still in the same mindset, still wondering how it’s going to happen, still questioning if God is going to let it happen for you. It’s like a disease; fear is telling you, YOU CAN’T DO IT. When God already said that you could. I planned a trip and felt the same way, trying to figure out how I’m going to do it when I have a car note and Dr bills and a low paying job. But I left my worries, my fears, my doubt to God and he paid for my trip in full. 🤲🏽

I’ve experienced moments when the weight of daily responsibilities—like car payments, medical bills, and low income—made reaching goals feel out of reach. Yet, what I found truly transformative was shifting my mindset from fear to faith and surrender. Instead of obsessing over obstacles, I chose to focus on what I could control: maintaining a positive attitude and trusting that the outcome would unfold as it should. It’s easy to become paralyzed by doubts and ‘‘what-ifs,’’ but these thoughts are often stories we tell ourselves rather than absolute truths. When we adopt a mindset of ‘‘Why worry when it’s yours,’’ we open the door to possibilities and reduce mental resistance. This doesn’t mean neglecting practical steps but balancing them with trust and patience. I learned that visualizing the desired result, no matter how far away it seems, encourages persistence and clarity. Faith, whether spiritual or simply belief in yourself, acts as a foundation during uncertain times. By releasing fears to a higher power or simply choosing hope, you invite opportunities you might otherwise miss. My own trip was paid in full, a surprising and humbling affirmation that sometimes, when you let go of control and fear, everything aligns without the stress you expect. In practical terms, this experience has reinforced the importance of setting clear goals, taking manageable steps, and practicing gratitude along the way. Sharing this journey hopes to remind others that doubt is natural but should not dictate your destiny. Instead, embrace trust and keep moving forward knowing that your dreams are within reach when you stop worrying and start believing.
