It’s all connected: health goals ✨
Hello friends! 🍋
I’be been talking to my friends about 2024 goals and how we are doing this year.
For lots of people, the number one goal for this year is get healthier! Start the gym, eat better, move, find good vitamins…
But before setting goals like “being healthy”, we most know the foundation of everything. How can we get healthier and where do we need start?
These foundations are timeless and universal. Our body and mind are connected and designed to work together.
Thoughts, Breath, Hydration, Gratitude, Movement, Sleep and Nutrition are seven elements that sustain our balance.
To exercise our thoughts, we need our breathing systems, our gratitude.
To work out we need hydration, nutrition and our breathing system too.
To sleep good we need the movement, nutrition, hydration…
Every foundation needs the others to establish balance, so the secret of a healthy lifestyle is to find the right way to work all of them together.
I know it sounds a lot, but once you start, it gets easier and easier.
I normally wake up, I go to the gym, I get back home, I take a shower, I make my breakfast with fresh food. While I eat my breakfast, I write on my gratitude journal.
I walk with my water bottler up and down. I got a 64oz and my goal is to finish the whole bottle before going to bed.
I get home 6:00pm, I take my shower, I put my phone down, I cook dinner, I take my vitamins, I read, I meditate and I go to sleep 9:30pm.
That’s my routine everyday. As you can see I can work with all the seven foundations without stress.
If you struggle with your routine, but you want to achieve your 2024 health goals, time to change and identify where are the seven foundations in your life.

To cultivate a healthy lifestyle, it's crucial to understand the interconnection of mental and physical health. The seven foundations of health—thoughts, breath, hydration, gratitude, movement, sleep, and nutrition—form a holistic approach to well-being. **Thoughts**: Your mindset directly impacts your health. Engaging in activities like meditation and setting positive goals can help improve mental resilience. **Breath**: Deep breathing techniques can reduce stress levels and improve emotional regulation. Try practicing breath-focused exercises daily. **Hydration**: Proper hydration plays a vital role in maintaining bodily functions. An easy rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day to keep toxins at bay. **Gratitude**: Maintaining a gratitude journal encourages focus on the positives in life, helping to mitigate symptoms of anxiety and depression. **Movement**: Regular physical activity strengthens both body and mind, from yoga to outdoor walks or structured workouts. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly. **Sleep**: Quality sleep is paramount for recovery and cognitive function. Establishing a consistent sleep schedule and avoiding screens before bed can significantly improve your rest quality. **Nutrition**: Your diet substantially affects your physical health. Combine organic foods, minimize processed sugars, and prioritize meals cooked at home for optimal nutrition. Integrating these foundations takes time, but by consciously including them in your life, you pave the way to achieving your health goals for 2024 and beyond.
