My Too 5 Recipes of 2025

My Top 5 Recipes of 2025

5. Birthday California Sushi Roll

Hands down, my all-time favorite food is sushi, and I couldn’t resist the urge to celebrate my birthday by attempting to make it for the first time. Honestly, I doubt I’ll ever make sushi again. 😭😭 Sushi making is no joke, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who knows how to make it. From now on, I’ll just pay for it. On a positive note, the decent sushi rolls I managed to make turned out to be incredibly delicious.

4. lasagna Soup

I had never heard of this type of soup before, and I had no idea it existed. As the temperature in Texas began to drop, I knew it was time to make a soup. However, I was unsure of what kind to make. I recalled a tortellini soup I had made years ago and thought, “Let’s make something similar, but different.” I searched for pasta soups on Google and stumbled upon lasagna soup (which I had never heard of before). I decided to give it a try, incorporating some elements from my tortellini soup from years ago. This soup has become my go-to recipe. After making it for my family, it disappeared in just one day, and they were happily asking for more.

3. Garlic Jalapeño Smashed Burger

One of the best and sexiest burgers I’ve ever had in a minute! It all started as an onion burger (the exact same burger I have on my page). It was a sponsorship, but they took too long to respond. I had already filmed, edited, and posted the burger images to my followers, asking, “Who’s ready for this?” I didn’t want to keep my audience waiting, so I just posted the burger without the sponsorship.

Days later, they came back and said, “I’m good to film.” I was like, “Dang, I guess I have to do another one, but different.” “Hmm,” I thought. “Let’s add jalapeños, garlic, and a whole seared onion (inspired by In-N-Out).” And guess what? It was approved and loved by the brand & me!

2. Hedley and Bennett Hot Honey Jalapeño & Garlic chicken sandwich

This chicken sandwich will undoubtedly be remembered as one of my all-time favorites! It all began when I reached out to Hedley and Bennett for an apron. They graciously agreed to provide me with one if I collaborated with them, which I did. Initially, I had no specific recipe in mind, but I was inspired by the jalapeño smashed burger I had made earlier. I had a lot of leftover jalapeños, so I thought, “What if instead of beef, I use chicken and make a chicken sandwich?” And that’s how the idea came to me. I still can’t get over that incredible chicken sandwich. It’s hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!

1. Chipotle Chicken Bowl Copycat

My favorite dish that I made for 2025. Initially, I didn’t plan to record it. I prepared chicken for a family taco night, and everyone, including me, found the chicken to taste remarkably similar to chipotles (which wasn’t my intention). Consequently, I decided to make bowls with the leftover chicken and thought, “Why not just film the meal preparations?” So, I did, and it turned out to be one of my most popular videos, garnering an impressive 187k followers for just that one video!!

can’t wait for 2026 more recipes and more love coming Thank yall!!!! #recipes #thatsavagekitchen #lemon8foodie
