I have crippling anxiety
I have anxiety and depression like so many others in this crazy world. Some days are harder than others, but it’s part of myself that I’ve accepted through the years. Something that’s helped me cope was humor. My version of humor can be a little dry sometimes and people start side eyeing me like 👀🫢 but that’s also just funny to me 😅
So if you’re like me in that aspect, you’d probably like these buttons and some other stuff on my site :)
Living with crippling anxiety often feels overwhelming, but many find that acceptance and humor can be powerful tools in managing daily challenges. Anxiety and depression affect countless people worldwide, and knowing you're not alone can be a huge comfort. One effective coping mechanism is using humor—even dry humor—to lighten difficult moments. It can help reduce the intensity of anxious thoughts and bring a fresh perspective when emotions run high. Dry humor, sometimes met with puzzled looks, invites connection through shared understanding and can become a unique part of personal resilience. Additionally, projects like the semicolon project symbolize hope and survival for those struggling with mental health, reminding us that our story isn't over and there's strength in continuing to move forward. Supporting small businesses that create mental health awareness items, like themed buttons, not only raises awareness but also builds a community of encouragement and solidarity. If you experience similar feelings, consider integrating humor into your coping strategies, whether through jokes, lighthearted content, or expressive outlets like clothing and accessories that resonate with your mental health journey. Explore forums and hashtags such as #anxiety, #depresso, and #semicolonproject for connection and inspiration. Remember, managing anxiety is a personal experience and finding what makes you feel supported and empowered is key.
