journaling prompt:✨wondrous✨
✨prism prompt✨
when was the last time something simple left you utterly delighted? as women navigating the complexities of today’s busy world, it’s easy to overlook the beauty and quiet wonder that gently presents itself in a 24-hour day. yet, according to psalm 66:5, cultivating a sense of the wondrous in our lives is something we’re each called to do.
the directive the psalmist gives was always intended to inspire us to pause, prompting us to intentionally seek out and savor wondrous moments while looking for God's hand in the everyday. whether it’s taking a walk in nature and marveling at creation, engaging in an activity that brings joy, or spending time with people we love and feeling the sweetness of the Father's presence as we’re together—we were made for wonder.
what’s filled you with a sense of delight this season? can you pinpoint moments when small, seemingly ordinary things recently brought you joy? God’s desire is that you see those moments as gifts where He is inviting you to slow down and embrace what He’s woven into every day.
before you move on, grab a journal and jot down areas where you’ve recently encountered wonder. then dialogue with Jesus about how you can create more space for wondrous moments in your life. finally, write a prayer asking Him to help you stay aware of those experiences that draw your heart toward God and fill it with delight. as you do, we believe you’ll be awakened to a deeper connection with Him.
