Are you allowing your beliefs or thoughts hold you back from going after your dreams? Often we shy away from doing something meaningful because we fear what others may say. Can you imagine not living your life because of Sam from high school ?

... Read moreMany people struggle with taking the first step toward their goals, particularly when it involves sharing their thoughts or creativity publicly. From my own experience and from speaking with others, I've found that the biggest barrier isn’t technical skills or timing, but the mindset—the fear of being judged that often stops us before we even begin. For instance, a friend once confided she was hesitant to post online because she feared negative opinions from family and friends. This kind of fear can create a false narrative in our minds, convincing us that we aren’t good enough or will be harshly criticized. What helps is to recognize that our fears are often just imagined scenarios. No one starts out perfect; confidence grows with action. By simply pressing record or publishing a post, you begin to build evidence that you can do the thing. It's normal to feel awkward or stumble at first—that’s part of the growth process. Instead of waiting to feel confident, start despite the discomfort, because confidence follows doing. Content creation, for example, is surprisingly simple at its core: you press record on your camera and share your message. The technical side is rarely the problem. The mental hurdles—self-doubt, fear of judgment, and perfectionism—are what take the most effort to overcome. Staying consistent and forgiving yourself during these early steps helps build resilience. Remember, the stories we tell ourselves about what others think can hold us hostage. Challenging and replacing those thoughts leads to freedom and progress. By shifting your focus from fear to the joy of creating and sharing, you empower yourself to live fully and authentically, far beyond the limiting beliefs tied to "what ifs" or criticisms from the past, even from people like "Sam from high school."

what are you placing above God?
today, sadly, it’s common that we put so many things above church and God. “we don’t mean to do it; we just forget.” I saw this happen so often in my own life and the lives of those around me. though it’s common, it’s time to break the trend. it’s time for us to understand why it’s hard for us to p

how are YOU taking care of yourself this week? 💞
if you’re like me, sometimes you forget to prioritize your self care in the name of getting things done! something that’s helped me a lot is spending at least 10 minutes each week evaluating how well i’ve been taking care of myself (and what i need more of!) this is what i’ll be doing this week
