To the late father.
🪷 My love is still in my heart. 🪷
From the first day I opened my eyes to the world, I learned that someone stood by without being far away, and that person was "Dad."
You're not a sweet speaker, not a loving person, but you're the one who can make me feel love every day by doing small things. You're the one who picks me up to school. Even though the sun is hot, or it rains until the streets are wet, you always wait with a smile and an umbrella.
You're the one who goes to the kitchen and cooks for you, while not luxurious, but full of will. The food you make is the most delicious taste in the world. You're the one who keeps indulging in me for the little things you want. Just seeing me smile, you seem happier than me.
The pictures where you stand and spread your umbrella for me to walk, you don't let my shoulders get wet, but you leave your arms soaked with rain droplets, and they are immaculately trapped in memory.
But today... I'm not here anymore. Laughter, name-calling, warmth that was around turned into a memory in my heart.
Despite the pain, the sadness is full of love, my memory never goes away, it always stays in my smile, in my eyes, and in my heart. You may never walk by my side again, but your love embraces me every day, and looking at the sky, I hear your faint voice. "Don't worry, I'm always here."
🌳 My shadow 🌳
Shadows spread over the head.
Still warm in memory.
Even in the rain, I got wet.
To make the rat step without shaking.
Hands that used to cradle rice dishes
The mild smell of the home kitchen.
Today has become a taste of the heart.
That no one can cook like my father.
The sound of a car that used to park in front of the school.
Still resounding in silence.
Every time you look at the old way,
The heart also saw the father standing smiling.
Even time took away the body.
But my love never died.
Also covered like an evening blanket
Still luminous like a star on a dark night.
Dad...
Today I may walk alone.
But every step is the footprint my father left.
And every breath
There's always my father's name.
