BEST COPYCAT ZUPPA TOSCANA ( Olive Garden dupe )

HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS 🫶🏾

I hope everyone had a fun and safe time celebrating! To kick off the new year I thought I’d start with a copycat of one of the best soups ever.

I am not an Olive Garden girly, but id move mountains for the this soup. 🧚🏾‍♀️🤭

It tastes like a hug from the inside out !! 🫶🏾

Zuppa Toscana Soup Recipe:

Ingredients:

- 1 pound Italian sausage

- 1 large onion, chopped

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 4 cups chicken broth

- 4 cups water

- 3 large potatoes, sliced

- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 4 cups chopped kale

- 1 cup heavy cream

Directions:

1. In a large pot, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.

2. Add chopped onions and garlic to the pot, cooking until onions are translucent.

3. Pour in chicken broth and water, then add sliced potatoes. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer until potatoes are tender.

4. Stir in chopped kale and cook until wilted.

5. Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
