Honestly debated posting this, because it’s not your normal, happy, giddy pregnancy announcement. But sometimes this is real life. Terrified out of our minds because we have one year old twins and just downsized to start saving money 😩 But now the shock has worn off and we are very excited!!🤎 #pregnant #pregnancyannouncement #babynumber3
Finding out that I was pregnant with baby #3 while already raising one-year-old twins was truly a whirlwind of emotions. I remember feeling overwhelmed and scared at first, especially since we had just downsized our home to save money, knowing twins require so much attention and energy. Balancing life with twins is already a tremendous challenge—every day is packed with feeding schedules, sleepless nights, and constant care. The thought of adding another little one seemed daunting at first. But as the shock wore off and I processed the news, excitement started to blossom. Knowing my family is growing brought a deep sense of joy and hope for the future. I also realized the importance of adjusting expectations and embracing flexibility. Downsizing was a tough decision but one that helps us manage finances better. It forced us to prioritize essentials and find creative ways to make our space work for five. To anyone expecting or managing multiple young children, I’d say: it’s okay to feel fear, but also give yourself grace and look forward to the new joys that come with adding to your family. Support systems, small daily wins, and taking time for self-care are crucial. Ultimately, each child brings unique love that makes all the challenges worthwhile.
