Monthly Budget Breakdown for our Family of 4 for July! We’ve been maintaining a monthly grocery budget of $300ish since 2017. Whatever is leftover from the previous month’s budget gets rolled over.
With last month’s roll over, we started this month’s budget with $367.71.
We spent a total of $299.29 which means we were $68.42 under budget.
For our monthly Eating Out/Order In Budget of $100, we spent a total of $87.63. This means we were $12.37 under budget.
Since we roll over any under budget money, we will start July Food Budget with $380.79.
I won’t ever roll over more than $100. If we have that much to roll over, the rest will go towards something else such as extra money towards the mortgage principal.
This is NOT all the food we have. If there’s not a lot of meat shown in the current grocery hauls it means I didn’t find good enough deals or my freezers are already full.
