... Read moreFrom my experience, ignoring that subtle feeling when the energy in the room isn't right often leads to unnecessary stress. I remember attending a friend's birthday dinner where the vibe was clearly cold, but I stayed, hoping to make things better by being overly kind and helpful—taking photos for everyone and trying to be useful. However, this only heightened the discomfort because the group’s energy was already set against me. It taught me that the first sign of discomfort or negative energy is a warning, not to be dismissed. People-pleasing or overcompensating can sometimes backfire as others may not respond genuinely. In fact, as I distanced myself, I was unfairly seen as the 'villain,' which was disappointing but also enlightening. I’d advise anyone facing similar situations: trust yourself and honor your discernment the first time you sense something is off. Not every invitation or smile means acceptance or friendship. Setting boundaries early on protects your energy and mental well-being. It's okay to walk away from environments or people that don’t feel welcoming, no matter how hard you try to fit in. Embracing this mindset has helped me prioritize my peace and surround myself with sincere connections. So if you’re ever in a room and something feels wrong, listen to that inner voice—it’s there to guide you. Remember, you don’t owe anyone your kindness, especially if it’s at the expense of your own emotional health.

The Moment I Knew Something Was Off 🤯
For me, it’s when the little things start to feel overwhelming and even simple tasks feel heavy. 😮‍💨 Burnout can sneak up on us—whether it’s from motherhood, work, school, or just juggling way too much at once. Sometimes it shows up as irritability, brain fog, or even just wanting to shut down comp

💜 The Moment I Knew She Was Okay

I wish I knew this years ago
I spent years feeling miserable, and struggled with stress, overwhelm. I was carrying extra weight and fat in my stomach, my face was round, easily overstimulated, needed daily naps, and was laying awake at night w/ racing thoughts, waking up from 2-3 AM and craving sugar and carbs. I tried ever

The moment I knew something wasn’t right
The day of my ultrasound was also the day we were moving out of our house. I drove straight from the hospital to where my husband Justin was loading furniture. The moment he looked up and saw my face, he dropped what he was holding. I started hyperventilating. They had just told me I ha

Something I wish I knew 100 lbs ago Part 1 💪🔥💯
When I started my weight loss journey, I thought I had to eat like a robot. Chicken, rice, broccoli. No flavor. No flexibility. No life. But that’s not how you lose weight — that’s how you quit. Here’s what I wish I knew 100 lbs ago 👇 🍽️ You don’t have to eat “clean.” You just have to e

I Knew Something Was Wrong (And I Was Right)
I’ve shared parts of my story before, but never in a way that really showed the full picture of what my body was trying to tell me. For a long time, my symptoms didn’t make sense — and I kept being told everything was “normal.” But deep down I knew something wasn’t right. It wasn’t until we r

Something I wish I knew as a gym beginner
