My peace didn’t come cheap 💔
Ever felt like you were the problem, but the problem was that your mindset wasn’t aligned with the system itself.
Stop giving discounts to those who can’t afford your aura. Think of your energy as a budget, an expensive one at that. We spend too much time on things or people that aren’t aligned with our level of values, goals, beliefs, or our own personal lives.
Yes, it gets sad when some people have to be subtracted or be a little (maybe lot) more distant with a rope attached in case of an need for help etc, but at least you don’t have to worry about any extra percentage coming off your peace. If anything, you keep your expensive taste by getting closer to and enjoying the life you deserve, and the price is adding up.
So let’s ask ourselves: what’s a discount worth having full access to my life, peace, and happiness? I’ve never heard of it in my dictionary or anything on Google. And it’s peaceful that way. 🥂

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel drained by relationships or commitments that don’t reflect our true values or goals. I’ve found that treating your energy like an expensive budget isn’t just a metaphor—it’s a necessary practice for maintaining mental and emotional well-being. Initially, it felt harsh to distance myself from people who weren’t aligned with my values or whose presence added more stress than support. However, this shift brought a surprising clarity: not everyone deserves unlimited access to your peace. When we give away our time and emotional availability too cheaply, it leads to imbalance and exhaustion. One practical way I've maintained this balance is by setting clear boundaries and communicating them honestly. It’s not about shutting people out completely but prioritizing connections that nurture and elevate me. Sometimes, this means having a safety rope—like being willing to help when truly needed—but without sacrificing ongoing peace. This mindset also helped me become more intentional about the company I keep and the goals I pursue. It’s empowering to realize that choosing who and what to invest my energy in directly influences my happiness and growth. The idea of “discounting” yourself for others simply doesn’t have a place in a life centered on peace and fulfillment. Eventually, I saw that protecting my expensive taste in energy meant honoring my own worth first. This perspective encourages self-respect and aligns with living authentically, which is crucial for long-term happiness. Embracing this approach transformed my relationships and personal journey, making each connection more meaningful and balanced.
