Traveling to Belize, especially when involving multiple plane rides, requires careful planning and comfort measures to make the journey enjoyable. On our first day, we experienced several flights, including a memorable third plane ride to San Pedro, which offered breathtaking views of water and land combinations from above. One tip I highly recommend is bringing noise-canceling headphones like Bose to help maximize comfort during long flights — they truly make a difference when you’re spending hours in the air. Additionally, having portable chargers or 'pod maxes' was a lifesaver for keeping devices powered during travel. Start your day early as we did; despite being sleepy and a bit hungry at 4:42 am, the excitement of the trip kept us going. Upon arrival, even though the first airport was not our final destination, the process was smooth and quick, allowing us to hit the town and explore. Walking through San Pedro streets is a fantastic way to immerse yourself immediately, giving a real feel of Belize’s local atmosphere. Rest is crucial after travel, so heading back to our villa to recharge for the next day is a must. This balance between adventure and rest ensures you’re ready for the days ahead.
