Prepare To Be In Love With Me 💞
I wanna tell you guys about this wig!!! BUT MI INNA MI HEAD!!! I have so much hair and makeup content that I wanna share, but I am so apprehensive 😔 and I honestly can't give you an exact reason why.
Fun fact I have training as a MUA. I took my makeup course in 2009 and started to take clients and build a business, BUT I love to stand in my owna way! 😩 I feel discouraged, I second guess my abilities then I fall off. Classic story of my life!
People compliment my makeup often a girl said to me once that my makeup "really sit dung inna mi face nice" lolol because that is literally the only thing that could sit in my face, it stuck with me and I understood what she was saying 🇯🇲
I record, and it collects dust 🙄. Likewise with my hair and wigs. No, I'm not a hairdresser, but I am my hairdresser! And the girls can do this too!
I believe, if a one ting a likkle black girl should be able to do, it's comb her hair! Likkle black girl, big black woman doesn't matter if it's your 1 signature style. We need that basic training. Then we let the hairdressers do their thing for different styles and occasions.
There are styles I'm good at and others, I'm trying a ting with. Either way, I filmed it, and tease bits and pieces here and there. I was kind of testing the waters, but I haven't fully shared.
ALL THAT TO SAY... imma pop my S#!+.
Imma share it all! I was stuck in this. I don't wanna do anything for myself phase. Focus on my kids, so there's no time for mom phase. Chopped off my hair so I didn't have to worry about combing it (ME WHO DID LOVEEEE LONG HAIR! I'm still shocked at myself lol but it's growth) Felt frumpy, fat and couldn't balance the me plus the boys. So I took me out of the equation.
BUT as I told ya'll Monday, I'm making a comeback! Emerging from the I'm a mom excuse. Because at the end of the day, every mom is a woman, and every woman is just a girl 🎀🩷
Prepare to be in love with me 😊
