When Brownie meets Cookies

• 60 g granulated sugar

• 150 g all-purpose flour

• 110 g butter browned
• 200 g chocolate
• 2 eggs room temp
• 125 g brown sugar
• 50 g plain flour
• 25 g cocoa powder
• 80gchopped chocolate
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tsp instant coffee
Make the Cookie Layer
• In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until it foams, turns golden brown, and smells nutty (3–5 min). Remove from heat and cool slightly.
• In a bowl, whisk browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar.
• Add egg and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
• Fold in flour just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
• Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Make the Brownie Layer
• add browned butter .
• Stir in brown sugar while still warm.
• Whisk in eggs, one at a time, until glossy.
• Fold in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and instant coffee.
• Add chopped chocolate .
4. Assemble
• Pour brownie batter on top of the cookie dough layer. Spread evenly.
• Tap the pan gently on the counter to release air bubbles.
5. Bake
• Bake for 30–35 minutes. The top should look set but a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
6. Cool & Serve
• Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
• Slice into 9–12 brookies and enjoy fudgy brownie + chewy browned butter cookie in one bite.
