After some research, I discovered that TikTok now restricts this switch to its desktop version or the mobile browser in desktop mode. Here’s what worked for me: I logged into my TikTok account on my computer using a web browser and accessed the desktop version of TikTok. From there, I navigated to my account settings, where the option to switch back to a personal account was available. The transition was seamless after that, but I did lose access to features exclusive to business accounts, such as detailed business insights and ad management tools. For anyone struggling with this, I recommend using Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on any desktop to access the desktop website. On mobile, you can request the desktop site by tapping the browser settings. This method bypasses the removal of the toggle from the app interface.
