I've been trying out doing my own nails
these are not bad
Trying out doing my own nails was a fun and surprisingly rewarding experience. Starting with the basics, I realized that good lighting and a steady hand are essential to achieve a neat look. I found that investing in a few quality nail tools like a nail file, cuticle pusher, and base coat drastically improved the results compared to rushing through the process. One tip I discovered is to allow each layer of polish ample drying time; otherwise, smudges can easily happen. Experimenting with colors and simple nail art designs can be a relaxing way to express creativity from home without the need for salon visits. Another important realization was the value of proper nail care before applying polish. Moisturizing cuticles and gently buffing nails helped the polish adhere better and last longer. Even when my nails were not perfect, I appreciated the sense of accomplishment after completing a manicure myself — knowing that practice would only improve the outcome. For anyone new to DIY nails, starting with classic solid colors and gradually trying more intricate designs can boost confidence and skill. Overall, doing my own nails is not just about saving money but about enjoying the process and customizing the look exactly to my taste. It’s satisfying to see “these are not bad” results become even better with each attempt, and having the freedom to pick any color or style whenever I want is a big plus.

Great job! keep working at them!❤️
