The truth about why you keep attracting the wrong men…

6/16 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, realizing why I kept attracting the wrong men was a turning point in understanding my own relationship patterns. Often, this can stem from subconscious beliefs and unresolved emotional baggage that influence whom we are drawn to. For instance, if we grew up around conflict or emotional unavailability, we might unconsciously seek partners who replicate those dynamics because they feel familiar, even if they’re harmful. I noticed that my choices were influenced by a desire to fix or change the other person, which led me into cycles of disappointment. It helped to reflect on my own self-worth and set clearer boundaries about what I deserved in a partner. Journaling my experiences and recognizing red flags earlier enabled me to change the patterns. One effective approach was focusing on self-love and self-care, which shifted my mindset from needing external validation to feeling whole on my own. Therapy or counseling can also be greatly beneficial in uncovering deep-rooted issues and learning healthier attachment styles. Surrounding oneself with supportive friends and role models who reflect positive relationships helped me visualize and aim for better connections. Ultimately, understanding why you keep attracting the wrong men is about introspection and growth. It requires patience and willingness to change old habits but leads to more fulfilling and respectful partnerships. Remember, nobody is perfect, but knowing your worth and what you want sets a strong foundation for love that truly supports and uplifts you.
