At Wat must stop!!
There was a wave of boiling on the Miss Universe 2025 stage hosted by Thailand after the beauties walked out of the event room before the sash ceremony due to clashes between Nawat Iskrai, the chairman of the host panel, and Miss Mexico.
At Wat Live explained that the incident was caused by a series of pressures, with some 20 beauty queens refusing to shoot promotional videos for their sponsors, admitting to being angry, but insisting that the following will not pressure anyone if the customers are not satisfied to take responsibility.
Most recently, Nov. 5, Mexican billionaire Raúl Rocha Cantu, as president of Miss Universe, officially stated, "I will not allow anyone to destroy the dignity and worth of women," blaming Watt for "forgetting the meaning of hosting" that should care for the contestants of 122 countries with kindness and sincerity.
Raoul also accused Watt of dishonorably treating Fatima Miss Universe Mexico to call security to pressure her to keep her quiet and leave her room, shouting clearly, "Watt, you have to stop!!" (NAWAT, YOU NEED TO STOP).
He emphasized that all women should be respected, and that this was not a problem for one person, but echoing the displeasure of many contestants, he ordered the sash ceremony to avoid clashes, and announced that the role of Navat in this event should be minimized or canceled.
Raoul commissioned Mario, CEO of Miss U, to clarify and implement all legal actions and send a team of executives to oversee the contest themselves, reiterating that "only beautiful women should shine."
He also compared that the credibility of MGI had failed at the hands of Nawat, but insisted that Miss Universe remained a platform to support women's power and women's dignity around the world.
In addition, 15 beautiful representatives such as Bahrain, Cameroon, Kenya, Maldives, Mongolia, Iran, Somalia, Germany and Fiji reportedly withdrew from the contest for visa and travel reasons.
