They probably forgot to think that more than "half a million" Cambodian workers (510,000, according to statistics from August to October 2025) were still safely in Thailand, without any harm or threat!!
This fact should have turned the Cambodian story into a "narrative that lacks credibility."
On the other hand, the poorest people are "Cambodian athletes," because no matter what nation of athletes, everyone trains and is determined to compete for a national competition.
But they had no chance to show off their skills in training and were unfortunately reinstated.
Without a chance to know that we Thais can distinguish between leaders of the country and the general public and athletes who are not involved in conflict, and we always welcome our friends to the event that we host, without unreasonable political / security conflicts.
