Repeat Buys for Gut Health & Glow ✨

Maintaining gut health is the secret to glowing skin ✨, better mood and overall wellness, so I’m sharing some of my go-to gut healing foods & herbs that I buy/grow on repeat! 🔁

⬇️Let’s break it down real quick⬇️

Probiotics = live good bacteria 🦠

Prebiotics = fuel for those good bacteria ⛽

Here’s what’s always in my routine🙌🏽

😋Foods😋

Yogurt – Probiotic queen! Helps balance your gut flora.

Kimchi – Spicy, crunchy, fermented goodness loaded with probiotics. I typically buy white kimchi because I don’t like too much spice 🌶️🥵🙃

Sauerkraut – Tangy and fermented cabbage packed with probiotics! Just make sure it's raw and unpasteurized to get the live culture

Miso – I’m on a serious miso kick lately! This fermented soybean paste is a gut-healing superstar (just don’t boil it to keep the live cultures alive!)

Tofu – Not a probiotic or prebiotic, but still a great plant-based protein that’s easy on digestion and pairs well with gut-friendly foods like miso and greens! But tempeh is similar and that is made by fermenting whole soybeans and contains probiotics. It has a firmer texture and slightly nutty, earthy flavor from tofu. Tofu can still stay on the list as a gentle protein source, just not in the same category of actually “gut healing”

Garlic & Onions – Prebiotic powerhouses that help feed your good bacteria. As a Greek-a-Rican cooking with these ingredients is a staple in practically all my dishes. 😋

Sea Moss – A natural prebiotic with minerals your gut loves.

Olive Oil – Not a classic prebiotic, but it has polyphenols that feed healthy gut bugs!

Leafy Greens – Always a yes! Full of fiber and nutrients that support digestion.

Wildwonder Sparkling Drinks – So tasty and full of prebiotics + probiotics!

Blume Super Belly – My fave!! Just add to water and bam! gut support activated!

🌿Herbs I love for gut healing 🌿

Ginger – Soothes the tummy, reduces nausea, and helps with digestion.

Flax Seeds – Loaded with fiber and omega-3s, they act as prebiotics to support gut bacteria.

Chia Seeds – Gel-like and rich in fiber, these are gentle prebiotics your gut will love.

Peppermint – Calms the gut and helps with IBS symptoms.

Fennel Seeds – Great for bloating & gas.

Turmeric – Anti-inflammatory queen!

Dandelion Greens – Detoxifying and great for your liver & gut.

Licorice Root – Helps soothe the digestive tract.

It’s been a journey learning what helps my gut feel GOOD, these are just a few staples that have made a huge difference.Again for notes, Prebiotics are types of fiber that feed the good bacteria (probiotics) in your gut.

Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria found in foods like yogurt, kefir, and fermented vegetables. 😉

Drop your fave gut goodies below or let me know if you’ve tried blume or wildwonder!🫶🏽
