Best Body Oils for Dry + Sensitive Skin ✨
#holygrailbodycare #lemon8challenge
I may have a body oil obsession… but in my defense, they all serve a different purpose. 😂✨
As someone with mostly normal-to-dry, highly sensitive skin that can occasionally have eczema flare-ups, I’m VERY particular about what I put on my body. These are the body oils that have earned a permanent spot in my rotation because they’ve all worked beautifully for my skin.
🌿 Aesop Breathless — My botanical spa moment. Earthy, aromatic and one of those oils that makes an ordinary shower feel like a whole ritual.
🍯 FarmHouse Fresh Agave Nectar — Soft, nourishing and such an underrated little gem. I love this when my skin is craving that extra moisturized, comfortable feeling.
🏛️ Buly Huile Antique — Pure luxury. This is the one I reach for when I want my body care to feel less like a routine and more like an experience.
🤎 L’Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil — An everything-shower FAVORITE. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and nourished.
🥥 Trader Joe’s Lemongrass Coconut Body Oil — Light, easy and perfect for everyday moisturizing without that super-heavy feel.
🍨 Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Oil — Sweet, warm and delicious-smelling. This is my “I want to smell like vacation” oil.
✨ Truly Golden Glaze — When the legs are OUT, so is Golden Glaze. 😂 Richer and thicker than my other shimmer oil with the prettiest golden glow.
✨ MINIMA Shimmer Oil — My lighter shimmer option. Gorgeous glow without feeling quite as rich as Golden Glaze, so I love it when I want something a little more subtle.
And my final ranking?
I REFUSE. 😂
They honestly all rank so well for me, just for completely different moods. Some days I want botanical spa woman.
Some days I want soft almond skin. Some days I want to smell edible. And sometimes I simply want to shimmer like I've been kissed by the Mediterranean sun. ✨
Body care should be a ritual you actually look forward to, and these have made mine feel a little more luxurious. 🤎
Which one would you reach for first?
My skin is highly sensitive, so these are based solely on my personal experience. Always patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive or eczema-prone skin. 😉
