Having visited six states so far, including Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, I’ve gathered a collection of memories that reflect the diverse culture, cuisine, and scenery these places offer. Texas, known for its vast landscapes and vibrant cities, impressed me with its rich history and warm hospitality. From the lively music scene in Austin to the delicious barbecue in San Antonio, each visit unveiled new adventures. Louisiana captivated me with its unique blend of French, African, and American cultures. The lively streets of New Orleans, filled with jazz music and festive celebrations, provided an unforgettable atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of the state. Arkansas offered a different charm with its natural beauty—mountains, hot springs, and serene parks. Exploring the outdoors here was refreshing and allowed me to connect with nature in a way I hadn't before. Reflecting on my travels, I realize how much each state contributes to the rich tapestry of American life. Whether it's through food, music, or landscapes, every place has its own story. After graduating college in 2016, I visited the majority of these states. My young sister and I packed up and I drove my 2008 Toyota Matrix across country. Staying in Cali for 2.5 months before driving back to SC. Places like DC, GA, NC, VA, and FL are all places I’ve been long before 2016.
