It's not always about grand, visible acts of bravery; sometimes, it's the quiet moments where you decide to keep going despite hardship. Resting when you're overwhelmed isn’t giving up—it’s gathering strength to face another day. I've found that whispering "I'll try again tomorrow" can be the bravest thing you do when dealing with mental health struggles or recovery. Walking into therapy sessions took immense courage for me, not because it was dramatic, but because it meant confronting uncomfortable feelings and trauma head-on. It’s those subtle choices—choosing healing, choosing to rest, choosing vulnerability—that build real resilience. Courage looks different every day and for every person, whether it’s surviving adversity, battling inner fears, or simply holding on when everything feels heavy. Recognizing that these actions count as courage can be empowering, helping us appreciate our own strength and the strength of others on similar healing journeys.
